Vacancies in an International School: School Administrator, ICT Coordinator, Head Procurement and Stores

We require suitable qualified candidates to fill the positions below:

Position: School Administrator

Reporting to the Principal/CEO

He/She will be responsible for providing leadership and oversight over the school’s non-academic administrative functions. Relevant experience is sought to cover the following departments:

Facilities
Human Resources
Catering, Procurement


Qualifications and Experience

Minimum of a first degree or its equivalent In any disciplines
A postgraduate degree/relevant professional qualification will be an added advantage.
Minimum of ten (10) years relevant experience of which at least four (4) must have been at a management level
Good knowledge of the principal, practices and techniques involved in general administrative management with particular emphasis on HR, facilities and procurement management
Good understanding of the operations of an educational institution.

Position: ICT Coordinator

Reporting directly to the Principal, the successful candidate will oversee the formulation, facilitation and implementation of IT strategies, policies and frame work to support the school and contribute to the realization or overall corporate objectives and goals.



Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Experience

First degree or its equivalent in Computer science or any related discipline
IT Professional Certificate or post-graduate qualification in information Technology.
Minimum of five (5) years cognate experience including specific experience with network infrastructure, Windows NT / XP /2008 server operating system, Network design and management, structured cable knowledge, WAN/MAN management experience, operations and business application support.
Very good understanding and working Knowledge of the following;
Server administration
Database administration
IT security administration
Enterprises LAN administration
Operating systems administration
Baseline knowledge of troubleshooting relevant enterprise applications
Baseline knowledge of relevant hardware (Compaq,HP. Dell e.tc) support and installation procedures.
Good knowledge of supporting Linux/UNIX, MS Windows and MS Office suite.


Position: Head Procurement and Stores

Reporting to the School Administrator

Qualification and Experience:


First degree or its equivalent in any discipline, preferably in the Social Sciences
Relevant post-graduate/ professional qualification will be an added advantage
Minimum of six (6) years relevant experience of which at least two (2) must have been at a supervisory level.
Knowledge and understanding of procurement practices, principles and techniques.
Good understanding of the School’s operations, inter-relationships and dependencies
Good networking negotiation and relationship management skills.
Good oral and written communication skills
Good supervisory skills.
