Expatriate for the International Building Materials Division
Job description
- In order to be fully acquainted with your future responsibilities, you will first follow an on the job training of 12 to 18 months in one of the factories of the Group. During that period you will work as Production-, Maintenance- or Project-Engineer with early task responsibilities, supported and guided by the local managers and experienced technicians.
- Once the training is completed, you will join the overseas expatriate team of the Group, most probably in one of the African factories (Nigeria).
- On site, you will be responsible in your domain as Production-, Maintenance-, or Project-Engineer, together with your colleagues (managers, technicians, workers).
- You will report to the local Technical Director, or equivalent.

Qualifications:
Profile - You have a degree in engineering (civil or industrial), with 1 to 3 years experience in a technical position in a production/industrial environment. - You are able to integrate in different cultural environments and you are willing to live overseas (e.g. in Nigeria ore elsewhere). Maturity, responsibility and autonomy are crucial personality traits. - You have strong people management skills or you are willing to develop these skills - You are a focused problem solver showing stress-resistance. - You are fluent in English, Spanish is an asset.
